Born in Washington, D.C. July 24th 1979, raised in the DC metro area in both Northern VA and Montgomery Co. MD. A third generation Washingtonian is something he and his family are very proud of. After High School in Rockville, MD Glenn went to college in Greenville, NC at East Carolina University. While at ECU Glenn studied Communications w/ a focus on Media Production. After his freshman year he interned with a local TV station for the summer and secured a part time job in the fall. That job led to another part time job working for two different FM radio stations & the Pirates Sports Radio Network. During his time in N.C. Glenn did many media jobs from running the TV camera on the sidelines of Football & Basketball games to being the color analyst for High School Basketball games, directing and producing a daily TV & Radio Show, among other duties. Upon graduation Glenn moved back to the DC area to start working for Clear Channel Washington on the Sports / Talk Side. From that first job out of college he moved up the radio ladder & started to produce NHL & NBA games along w/ live daily talk shows.
In 2002 Glenn was offered a job w/ Fox Sports Radio to produce the national "Steve Czaban Show". Although F.S.R. is based in Los Angeles, “Czabe” is based out of DC so Glenn could take this dream job and remain in his hometown too, a very cool thing. After a year w/ Fox Glenn got antsy and wanted a change of scene. He left the business all together and went to work for a family friend in the Mortgage / Real Estate biz. After a few years and a very good learning experience about how the "real world" works Glenn found he needed back in the biz. In 2006 he landed a job at XM Satellite Radio, also based in DC, w/ the MLB Channel. He was a part time producer and Update Anchor. From there he continued ON AIR activities and started anchoring the sports updates on XM's all Sports Channel, the XM Sports Nation, along with doing the leaderboard updates for the PGA Tour Network. In early 2007 XM Sports Nation brought Glenn in to work exclusively for their channel to continue anchoring the sports updates and host shows when needed. Along with radio partner Bill Rohland, Glenn hosted a College Football show for the entire 2007 season. He was also lucky enough to host College Basketball shows, NCAA Selection show, BCS Special and fill in as the Morning Host. Currently Glenn can be heard on MLB Homeplate XM 175 & Sirius 210. |
